Description
Product Storage
To properly store bacteriostatic water, follow these guidelines:
Keep it sealed: Store the vial tightly sealed when not in use to maintain sterility and prevent contamination.
Temperature: Store at room temperature (typically 20–25°C or 68–77°F). Refrigeration is usually not required and may cause precipitation or cloudiness.
Avoid contamination: Use a new sterile needle and syringe each time you withdraw water from the vial to avoid introducing bacteria.
Check before use: Always inspect the water for any discoloration, cloudiness, or particles before use. If the solution appears cloudy or has any debris, do not use it.
Shelf life: After opening, bacteriostatic water can generally be used for up to 28 days, but check the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Avoid freezing: Do not freeze bacteriostatic water, as this can degrade the solution or the bacteriostatic agent.
